Spiritual Gifts

12Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed.G1161G4012G4152G80G2309G3756G2309G5209G50
2You know that when you were pagans, you were enticed and led astray to idols that could not speak.G1492G3754G2258G1484G520G4314G880G1497G5613G302G71
3Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking by the Spirit of God ever says "Let Jesus be cursed!" and no one can say "Jesus is Lord" except by the Holy Spirit.G1352G1107G5213G1107G3754G3762G2980G1722G4151G2316G3004G2424G331G2532G3762G1410G2036G2424G2962G1508G1722G40G4151
4Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit;G1161G1526G1243G5486G1161G846G4151
5and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord;G2532G1526G1243G1248G2532G846G2962
6and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone.G2532G1526G1243G1755G1161G2076G846G2316G3588G1754G3956G1722G3956
7To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.G1161G5321G4151G1325G1538G4314G4851
8To one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit,G1063G3739G3303G1325G1223G4151G3056G4678G1161G243G3056G1108G2596G846G4151
9to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,G1161G2087G4102G1722G846G4151G1161G243G5486G2386G1722G846G4151
10to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the discernment of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.G1161G243G1755G1411G1161G243G4394G1161G243G1253G4151G1161G2087G1085G1100G1161G243G2058G1100
11All these are activated by one and the same Spirit, who allots to each one individually just as the Spirit chooses.G1161G3956G5023G1754G1520G2532G846G4151G1244G1538G2398G2531G1014

One Body with Many Members

12For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.G1063G2509G4983G2076G1520G2532G2192G4183G3196G1161G3956G3196G1520G4983G5607G4183G2076G1520G4983G3779G2532G5547
13For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.G1063G2532G1722G1520G4151G907G2249G3956G907G1519G1520G4983G1535G2453G1535G1672G1535G1401G1535G1658G2532G4222G3956G4222G1519G1520G4151
14Indeed, the body does not consist of one member but of many.G2532G1063G4983G2076G3756G1520G3196G235G4183
15If the foot would say, "Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body," that would not make it any less a part of the body.G1437G4228G2036G3754G1510G3756G5495G1510G3756G1537G4983G2076G3756G3844G5124G3756G1537G4983
16And if the ear would say, "Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body," that would not make it any less a part of the body.G2532G1437G3775G2036G3754G1510G3756G3788G1510G3756G1537G4983G2076G3756G3844G5124G3756G1537G4983
17If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole body were hearing, where would the sense of smell be?G1487G3650G4983G3788G4226G189G1487G3650G189G4226G3750
18But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose.G1161G3570G5087G2316G5087G3196G1538G1520G846G1722G4983G2531G2309
19If all were a single member, where would the body be?G1161G1487G2258G3956G1520G3196G4226G4983
20As it is, there are many members, yet one body.G1161G3568G3303G4183G3196G1161G1520G4983
21The eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you," nor again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you."G1161G3788G3756G1410G2036G5495G2192G3756G5532G4675G2228G3825G2776G4228G2192G3756G5532G5216
22On the contrary, the members of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable,G235G4183G3123G3196G4983G1380G5225G772G2076G316
23and those members of the body that we think less honorable we clothe with greater honor, and our less respectable members are treated with greater respect;G2532G3739G4983G1380G1511G820G5125G4060G4055G5092G2532G2257G809G2192G4055G2157
24whereas our more respectable members do not need this. But God has so arranged the body, giving the greater honor to the inferior member,G1161G2257G2158G2192G3756G5532G235G2316G4786G4983G4786G1325G4055G5092G5302
25that there may be no dissension within the body, but the members may have the same care for one another.G3363G5600G3363G4978G1722G4983G235G3196G3309G846G3309G5228G240
26If one member suffers, all suffer together with it; if one member is honored, all rejoice together with it.G2532G1535G1520G3196G3958G3956G3196G4841G1535G1520G3196G1392G3956G3196G4796
27Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.G1161G5210G2075G4983G5547G2532G3196G1537G3313
28And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers; then deeds of power, then gifts of healing, forms of assistance, forms of leadership, various kinds of tongues.G2532G3739G2316G5087G3303G1722G1577G4412G652G1208G4396G5154G1320G1899G1411G1534G5486G2386G484G2941G1085G1100
29Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles?G3361G3956G652G3361G3956G4396G3361G3956G1320G3361G3956G1411
30Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?G3361G2192G3956G5486G2386G3956G3361G2980G1100G3361G3956G1329
31But strive for the greater gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent way.G1161G2206G2909G5486G2532G2089G1166G5213G2596G5236G3598
