Lawsuits against Fellow Christians

6If any of you have a dispute with another Christian, how dare you go before heathen judges instead of letting God's people settle the matter?G5111G5100G5216G2192G4229G4314G2087G2919G1909G94G2532G3780G1909G40 2Don't you know that God's people will judge the world? Well, then, if you are to judge the world, aren't you capable of judging small matters?G1492G3756G1492G3754G40G2919G2889G2532G1487G2889G2919G1722G5213G2075G370G2922G1646 3Do you not know that we shall judge the angels? How much more, then, the things of this life!G1492G3756G3754G2919G32G3386G1065G982 4If such matters come up, are you going to take them to be settled by people who have no standing in the church?G1437G3303G3767G2192G2922G982G2523G5128G1848G1722G1577 5Shame on you! Surely there is at least one wise person in your fellowship who can settle a dispute between fellow Christians.G3004G4314G5213G1791G3779G2076G3756G4680G1722G5213G3761G1520G3739G1410G1252G303G3319G846G80 6Instead, one Christian goes to court against another and lets unbelievers judge the case!G235G80G2919G3326G80G2532G5124G1909G571 7The very fact that you have legal disputes among yourselves shows that you have failed completely. Would it not be better for you to be wronged? Would it not be better for you to be robbed?G2235G3303G3767G2076G3654G2275G1722G5213G3754G2192G2917G3326G1438G1302G91G3780G3123G91G1302G650G3780G3123G650 8Instead, you yourselves wrong one another and rob one another, even other believers!G235G5210G91G2532G650G2532G5023G80 9Surely you know that the wicked will not possess God's Kingdom. Do not fool yourselves; people who are immoral or who worship idols or are adulterers or homosexual pervertsG2228G1492G3756G3754G94G2816G3756G2816G932G2316G4105G3361G4105G3777G4205G3777G1496G3777G3432G3777G3120G3777G733 10or who steal or are greedy or are drunkards or who slander others or are thieves - none of these will possess God's Kingdom.G3777G2812G3777G4123G3777G3183G3756G3060G3756G727G3756G2816G932G2316 11Some of you were like that. But you have been purified from sin; you have been dedicated to God; you have been put right with God by the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.G2532G5023G2258G5100G235G628G235G37G235G1344G1722G3686G2962G2424G2532G1722G4151G2257G2316

Use Your Bodies for God’s Glory

12Someone will say, "I am allowed to do anything." Yes; but not everything is good for you. I could say that I am allowed to do anything, but I am not going to let anything make me its slave.G3956G1832G3427G235G3956G4851G3756G4851G3956G1832G3427G235G1473G1850G3756G1850G5259G5100 13Someone else will say, "Food is for the stomach, and the stomach is for food." Yes; but God will put an end to both. The body is not to be used for sexual immorality, but to serve the Lord; and the Lord provides for the body.G1033G2836G2532G2836G1033G1161G2316G2673G2532G5026G2532G5023G1161G4983G3756G4202G235G2962G2532G2962G4983 14God raised the Lord from death, and he will also raise us by his power.G1161G2316G1453G2532G1453G2962G2532G1825G2532G1825G2248G1223G846G1411 15You know that your bodies are parts of the body of Christ. Shall I take a part of Christ's body and make it part of the body of a prostitute? Impossible!G1492G3756G3754G5216G4983G2076G3196G5547G142G3767G142G3196G5547G4160G3196G4204G3361G1096 16Or perhaps you don't know that the man who joins his body to a prostitute becomes physically one with her? The scripture says quite plainly, "The two will become one body."G2228G1492G3756G3754G2853G4204G2076G1520G4983G1063G1417G5346G2071G1519G3391G4561 17But he who joins himself to the Lord becomes spiritually one with him.G1161G2853G2962G2076G1520G4151 18Avoid immorality. Any other sin a man commits does not affect his body; but the man who is guilty of sexual immorality sins against his own body.G5343G4202G3956G265G3739G1437G444G4160G2076G1622G4983G1161G4203G264G1519G2398G4983 19Don't you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and who was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourselves but to God;G2228G1492G3756G3754G5216G4983G2076G3485G40G4151G1722G5213G3739G2192G575G2316G2532G2075G3756G1438 20he bought you for a price. So use your bodies for God's glory.G1063G59G5092G1211G1392G2316G1722G5216G4983G2532G1722G5216G4151G3748G2076G2316
