Saul among Prophets

2"When you go from me today, then you will find two men close to Rachel's tomb in the territory of Benjamin at Zelzah; and they will say to you, 'The donkeys which you went to look for have been found. Now behold, your father has ceased to be concerned about the donkeys and is anxious for you, saying," What shall I do about my son? 6"Then the Spirit of the LORD will come upon you mightily, and you shall prophesy with them and be changed into another man.H7307H3068H6743H5012H2015H312H376

10When they came to the hill there, behold, a group of prophets met him; and the Spirit of God came upon him mightily, so that he prophesied among them.H935H1389H2256H5030H7125H7307H430H6743H5012H8432

11And it came about, when all who knew him previously saw that he prophesied now with the prophets, that the people said to one another, "What has happened to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?"H3045H865H8032H7200H5012H5030H5971H559H376H7453H1121H7027H7586H5030

12And a man there answered and said, "Now, who is their father?" Therefore it became a proverb: "Is Saul also among the prophets?"H376H6030H559H1H4912H7586H5030

14Now Saul's uncle said to him and his servant, "Where did you go?" And he said," To look for the donkeys. When we saw that they could not be found, we went to Samuel. "H7586H1730H559H5288H575H1980H559H1245H860H7200H369H935H8050

17Thereafter Samuel called the people together to the LORD at Mizpah;H8050H6817H5971H3068H4709

18and he said to the sons of Israel, "Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, 'I brought Israel up from Egypt, and I delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians, and from the power of all the kingdoms that were oppressing you.'H559H1121H3478H559H3068H430H3478H5927H3478H4714H5337H3027H4714H3027H4467H3905

19"But you today rejected your God, who delivers you from all your calamities and your distresses; yet you have said, 'No, but set a king over us!' 22Therefore they inquired further of the LORD, "Has the man come here yet?" So the LORD said, "Behold, he is hiding himself by the baggage."H7592H3068H376H935H1988H3068H559H2244H3627

24And Samuel said to all the people, "Do you see him whom the LORD has chosen? Surely there is no one like him among all the people." So all the people shouted and said, "[Long] live the king!"H8050H559H5971H7200H3068H977H5971H5971H7321H559H2421H4428
