Jeremiah, Set Free, Remembers Ebed-melech

11King Nebuchadrezzar of Babylon gave command concerning Jeremiah through Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, saying,H5019H4428H894H6680H3414H3027H5018H7227H2876H559 12"Take him, look after him well and do him no harm, but deal with him as he may ask you."H3947H5869H7760H6213H3972H7451H6213H1696 13So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, Nebushazban the Rab-saris, Nergal-sharezer the Rab-mag, and all the chief officers of the king of Babylon sentH5018H7227H2876H7971H5021H7249H5371H7248H4428H894H7227 14and took Jeremiah from the court of the guard. They entrusted him to Gedaliah son of Ahikam son of Shaphan to be brought home. So he stayed with his own people.H7971H3947H3414H2691H4307H5414H1436H1121H296H1121H8227H3318H1004H3427H8432H5971 15The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah while he was confined in the court of the guard:H1697H3068H3414H6113H2691H4307H559 16Go and say to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian: Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: I am going to fulfill my words against this city for evil and not for good, and they shall be accomplished in your presence on that day.H1980H559H5663H3569H559H559H3068H6635H430H3478H935H1697H5892H7451H2896H3117H6440 17But I will save you on that day, says the LORD, and you shall not be handed over to those whom you dread.H5337H3117H5002H3068H5414H3027H582H6440H3016 18For I will surely save you, and you shall not fall by the sword; but you shall have your life as a prize of war, because you have trusted in me, says the LORD.H4422H4422H5307H2719H5315H7998H982H5002H3068
