The Arrest of Jesus

Jesus before Annas

12Then the Roman soldiers with their commanding officer and the Jewish guards arrested Jesus, tied him up,G3767G4686G2532G5506G2532G5257G2453G4815G2424G2532G1210G846

Peter Denies Jesus

15Simon Peter and another disciple followed Jesus. That other disciple was well known to the High Priest, so he went with Jesus into the courtyard of the High Priest's house,G1161G4613G4074G190G2424G2532G243G3101G1161G1565G3101G2258G1110G749G2532G4897G2424G1519G833G749

16while Peter stayed outside by the gate. Then the other disciple went back out, spoke to the girl at the gate, and brought Peter inside.G1161G4074G2476G4314G2374G1854G3767G1831G243G3101G3739G2258G1110G749G2532G2036G2377G2532G1521G4074

The High Priest Questions Jesus

20Jesus answered, "I have always spoken publicly to everyone; all my teaching was done in the synagogues and in the Temple, where all the people come together. Peter Denies Jesus Again

25Peter was still standing there keeping himself warm. So the others said to him, "Aren't you also one of the disciples of that man?" But Peter denied it. "No, I am not," he said.G1161G4613G4074G2258G2476G2532G2328G2036G3767G846G1488G3361G4771G2532G1537G846G3101G1565G720G2532G2036G1510G3756

Jesus before Pilate

28Early in the morning Jesus was taken from Caiaphas' house to the governor's palace. 36Jesus said, "My kingdom does not belong to this world; if my kingdom belonged to this world, my followers would fight to keep me from being handed over to the Jewish authorities.
