Aaron and Miriam Rebel

12Miriam and Aaron rebelled against Moses on account of the Cushite woman that he had married.H4813H175H1696H4872H182H3571H802H3947H3947H3571H802 2They asked, "Has the Lord spoken only through Moses - Hasn't he also spoken through us?" But the Lord heard it.H559H3068H1696H4872H1696H3068H8085 3Now the man Moses was very humble - more than any person on earth.H376H4872H3966H6035H6035H120H6440H127 4All of a sudden, the Lord said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam: "The three of you are to come out to the tent of meeting." So the three of them went out.H3068H559H6597H4872H175H4813H3318H7969H168H4150H7969H3318 5Then the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud, stood at the entrance to the tent of meeting, and summoned Aaron and Miriam. So both of them went forward.H3068H3381H5982H6051H5975H6607H168H7121H175H4813H8147H3318 6Then he said to the two of them: "Pay attention to what I have to say! When there is a prophet among you, won't I, the Lord, reveal myself to him in a vision - Won't I speak with him in a dream -H559H8085H1697H5030H3068H3045H4759H1696H2472 7"But that's not how it is with my servant Moses, since he has been entrusted with my entire household!H5650H4872H539H1004 8I speak to him audibly and in visions, not in mysteries. If he can gaze at the image of the Lord, why aren't you afraid to speak against my servant Moses?"H1696H6310H6310H4758H2420H8544H3068H5027H3372H1696H5650H4872 9Because the Lord was very angry with them, he left,H639H3068H2734H3212 10but when the cloud ascended from the tent, Miriam had become leprous, as white as snow! Aaron turned toward Miriam, and she had leprosy!H6051H5493H168H4813H6879H7950H175H6437H4813H6879 11Aaron begged Moses, "I pray my lord, please don't hold this sin against us, since we've acted foolishlyandsinnedindoingso.H175H559H4872H994H113H7896H2403H2973H2398 12Please don't let her be like one of the living dead, who is born with a congenital skin disease."H4994H4191H1320H2677H398H3318H517H7358 13So Moses prayed to the Lord: "O Lord, please heal her."H4872H6817H3068H559H7495H410 14But the Lord told Moses, "If her father had merely spit in her face, wouldn't she be humiliated - She is to be placed in isolation for seven days. After that, she may be brought in."H3068H559H4872H1H3417H3417H6440H3637H7651H3117H5462H2351H4264H7651H3117H310H622 15So Miriam was isolated outside the camp for seven days and the people didn't travel until Miriam was brought in.H4813H5462H2351H4264H7651H3117H5971H5265H4813H622 16After that, the people traveled from Hazeroth and encamped in the Wilderness of Paran.H310H5971H5265H2698H2583H4057H6290
