The Murmuring of Miriam and Aaron

12NOW MIRIAM and Aaron talked against Moses [their brother] because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite woman.H4813H175H1696H4872H182H3571H802H3947H3947H3571H802 2And they said, Has the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? Has He not spoken also by us? And the Lord heard it.H559H3068H1696H4872H1696H3068H8085 3Now the man Moses was very meek (gentle, kind, and humble) {or} above all the men on the face of the earth.H376H4872H3966H6035H6035H120H6440H127 4Suddenly the Lord said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, Come out, you three, to the Tent of Meeting. And the three of them came out.H3068H559H6597H4872H175H4813H3318H7969H168H4150H7969H3318 5The Lord came down in a pillar of cloud, and stood at the Tent door and called Aaron and Miriam, and they came forward.H3068H3381H5982H6051H5975H6607H168H7121H175H4813H8147H3318 6And He said, Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make Myself known to him in a vision and speak to him in a dream.H559H8085H1697H5030H3068H3045H4759H1696H2472 7But not so with My servant Moses; he is entrusted {and} faithful in all My house.H5650H4872H539H1004 8With him I speak mouth to mouth [directly], clearly and not in dark speeches; and he beholds the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?H1696H6310H6310H4758H2420H8544H3068H5027H3372H1696H5650H4872 9And the anger of the Lord was kindled against them, and He departed.H639H3068H2734H3212 10And when the cloud departed from over the Tent, behold, Miriam was leprous, as white as snow. And Aaron looked at Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous!H6051H5493H168H4813H6879H7950H175H6437H4813H6879 11And Aaron said to Moses, Oh, my lord, I plead with you, lay not the sin upon us in which we have done foolishly and in which we have sinned.H175H559H4872H994H113H7896H2403H2973H2398 12Let her not be as one dead, already half decomposed when he comes out of his mother's womb.H4994H4191H1320H2677H398H3318H517H7358 13And Moses cried to the Lord, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech You!H4872H6817H3068H559H7495H410 14And the Lord said to Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed for seven days? Let her be shut up outside the camp for seven days, and after that let her be brought in again.H3068H559H4872H1H3417H3417H6440H3637H7651H3117H5462H2351H4264H7651H3117H310H622 15So Miriam was shut up without the camp for seven days, and the people did not journey on until Miriam was brought in again.H4813H5462H2351H4264H7651H3117H5971H5265H4813H622 16Afterward [they] removed from Hazeroth and encamped in the Wilderness of Paran.H310H5971H5265H2698H2583H4057H6290
