Trust the Lord

3My son, don't forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commands;H1121H7911H8451H3820H5341H4687
2for they will bring you many days, a full life, and well-being.H753H3117H8141H2416H7965H3254
3Never let loyalty and faithfulness leave you. Tie them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart.H2617H571H5800H7194H1621H3789H3871H3820
4Then you will find favor and high regard in the sight of God and man.H4672H2580H2896H7922H5869H430H120
5Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding;H982H3068H3820H8172H998
6think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right paths.H1870H3045H3474H734
7Don't consider yourself to be wise; fear the LORD and turn away from evil.H2450H5869H3372H3068H5493H7451
8This will be healing for your body and strengthening for your bones.H7500H8270H8250H6106
9Honor the LORD with your possessions and with the first produce of your entire harvest;H3513H3068H1952H7225H8393
10then your barns will be completely filled, and your vats will overflow with new wine.H618H4390H7647H3342H6555H8492
11Do not despise the LORD's instruction, my son, and do not loathe His discipline;H1121H3988H4148H3068H6973H8433
12for the LORD disciplines the one He loves, just as a father, the son he delights in.H3068H157H3198H1H1121H7521

Wisdom Brings Happiness

15She is more precious than jewels; nothing you desire compares with her.H3368H6443H2656H7737
16Long life is in her right hand; in her left, riches and honor.H753H3117H3225H8040H6239H3519
17Her ways are pleasant, and all her paths, peaceful.H1870H1870H5278H5410H7965
18She is a tree of life to those who embrace her, and those who hold on to her are happy.H6086H2416H2388H833H8551
19The LORD founded the earth by wisdom and established the heavens by understanding.H3068H2451H3245H776H8394H3559H8064
20By His knowledge the watery depths broke open, and the clouds dripped with dew.H1847H8415H1234H7834H7491H2919
21Maintain [your] competence and discretion. My son, don't lose sight of them.H1121H3868H5869H5341H8454H4209
22They will be life for you and adornment for your neck.H2416H5315H2580H1621
23Then you will go safely on your way; your foot will not stumble.H3212H1870H983H7272H5062

25Don't fear sudden danger or the ruin of the wicked when it comes,H3372H6597H6343H7722H7563H935
26for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from a snare.H3068H3689H8104H7272H3921
