Good News Translation Help

A Song of Praise[y]

40I waited patiently for the LORD's help; then he listened to me and heard my cry.H5329H4210H1732H6960H6960H3068H5186H8085H7775 2He pulled me out of a dangerous pit, out of the deadly quicksand. He set me safely on a rock and made me secure.H5927H7588H953H3121H2916H6965H7272H5553H3559H838 3He taught me to sing a new song, a song of praise to our God. Many who see this will take warning and will put their trust in the LORD.H5414H2319H7892H6310H8416H430H7227H7200H3372H982H3068 4Happy are those who trust the LORD, who do not turn to idols or join those who worship false gods.H835H1397H7760H3068H4009H6437H7295H7750H3577 5You have done many things for us, O LORD our God; there is no one like you! You have made many wonderful plans for us. I could never speak of them all - their number is so great!H7227H3068H430H6381H6213H4284H6186H5046H1696H6105H5608 6You do not want sacrifices and offerings; you do not ask for animals burned whole on the altar or for sacrifices to take away sins. Instead, you have given me ears to hear you,H2077H4503H2654H241H3738H5930H2401H7592 7and so I answered, "Here I am; your instructions for me are in the book of the Law.H559H935H4039H5612H3789 8How I love to do your will, my God! I keep your teaching in my heart."H2654H6213H7522H430H8451H8432H4578 9In the assembly of all your people, LORD, I told the good news that you save us. You know that I will never stop telling it.H1319H6664H7227H6951H3607H8193H3068H3045 10I have not kept the news of salvation to myself; I have always spoken of your faithfulness and help. In the assembly of all your people I have not been silent about your loyalty and constant love.H3680H6666H8432H3820H559H530H8668H3582H2617H571H7227H6951 11LORD, I know you will never stop being merciful to me. Your love and loyalty will always keep me safe.H3607H7356H3068H2617H571H8548H5341

A Prayer for Help

12I am surrounded by many troubles - too many to count! Help me now!H7521H3068H5337H3068H2363H5833 14May those who try to kill me be completely defeated and confused. May those who are happy because of my troubles be turned back and disgraced.H954H2659H3162H1245H5315H5595H5472H268H3637H2655H7451 15May those who make fun of me be dismayed by their defeat.H8074H6118H1322H559H1889H1889 16May all who come to you be glad and joyful. May all who are thankful for your salvation always say, "How great is the LORD!"H1245H7797H8055H157H8668H559H8548H3068H1431 17I am weak and poor, O Lord, but you have not forgotten me.
