The Vision of the Measuring Line

2In another vision I saw a man with a measuring line in his hand.H5375H5869H7200H376H4060H2256H3027 2"Where are you going?" I asked. "To measure Jerusalem," he answered, "to see how long and how wide it is."H559H1980H559H4058H3389H7200H4100H7341H753 3Then I saw the angel who had been speaking to me step forward, and another angel came to meet him.H4397H1696H3318H312H4397H3318H7125 4The first one said to the other, "Run and tell that young man with the measuring line that there are going to be so many people and so much livestock in Jerusalem that it will be too big to have walls.H559H7323H1696H1975H5288H559H3389H3427H6519H7230H120H929H8432 5The LORD has promised that he himself will be a wall of fire around the city to protect it and that he will live there in all his glory."H5002H3068H2346H784H5439H3519H8432

The Exiles Are Called to Come Home

6The LORD said to his people, "I scattered you in all directions.H1945H1945H5127H776H6828H5002H3068H6566H702H7307H8064H5002H3068 7But now, you exiles, escape from Babylonia and return to Jerusalem.H4422H1945H6726H3427H1323H894 8Anyone who strikes you strikes what is most precious to me." So the LORD Almighty sent me with this message for the nations that had plundered his people:H559H3068H6635H310H3519H7971H1471H7997H5060H5060H892H5869 9"The LORD himself will fight against you, and you will be plundered by the people who were once your servants." When this happens, everyone will know that the LORD Almighty sent me.H5130H3027H7998H5647H3045H3068H6635H7971 10The LORD said, "Sing for joy, people of Jerusalem! I am coming to live among you!"H7442H8055H1323H6726H935H7931H8432H5002H3068 11At that time many nations will come to the LORD and become his people. He will live among you, and you will know that he has sent me to you.H7227H1471H3867H3068H3117H5971H7931H8432H3045H3068H6635H7971 12Once again Judah will be the special possession of the LORD in his sacred land, and Jerusalem will be the city he loves most of all.H3068H5157H3063H2506H6944H127H977H3389 13Be silent, everyone, in the presence of the LORD, for he is coming from his holy dwelling place.H2013H1320H6440H3068H5782H6944H4583
