Executive and Leadership Coaching with Dr. Sang Sur
Why coaching?
Coaching is for people who dream of doing great things.
There are many ways you can lead your life, but you need to be internally driven to make a meaningful impact in the world. Like many people, you can seek advice from others (parents, friends, counselors, supervisors, etc.) and follow activities as the educational/occupational system stipulates. It may lead you to accomplish tasks and get by in life without fulfilling a greater and meaningful vision.
The coaching paradigm focuses on the ability to draw out your deeper convictions to move you toward fulfilling your greater destiny and being a person of greater value to those around you.
Why do executives need coaching?
Due to sin and pride, even the best-intentioned Christians get sidetracked and become inundated with everyday work, forgetting the purpose of God placing them there.
As executives, we are responsible for the success of our companies, even if that means going beyond our specializations. Our work spans the ongoing and envisioned activities. It means we have an infinite workload, and it is easy to forget our original purpose and pursuits. Work can become mundane, and our drive may wane. An executive coach helps such leaders to keep first things first while being successful at everything they need to accomplish.
Additionally, since executives must be generalists at times, there may be certain unfamiliar activities they must do. Yet, executives do not have anyone to talk to through their challenges and check for gaps in their understanding. An experienced executive coach would enable the leaders to see the bigger picture, closing the gap to the unknowns.
The executive coach remains alongside the executives and enables them to drive from the heart.
How often and where will we meet?
What does Hebrews 11 have to do with Executive Coaching?
Executives have gone through many trials to make it to where they are. The problem, just as shown through unfortunate histories in Scripture, is that when people come to positions of power, they turn away from God, their first priority, and rely on their experiences and past successes.
Hebrews 11 coaching is for Christians whom God called to the marketplace. The trained executive coach will walk with them through the complexities of work while supporting them to keep their priorities and succeed in all they do.
I'm interested in coaching. What are my next steps?

IT Executive, Christian Pastor, Executive Coach
I am an IT Executive, Christian Pastor, and an Executive Coach who seeks to work with people in the business world to fulfill their God-given callings. We need more influential people of God in the marketplace to lead and impact the world. I help them make that impact in their business, rise in leadership influence, and accomplish their great destinies. I know many do not finish well.
I hold a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management, a Master of Science in Aeronautics, a Bachelor of Science in Physics, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I also hold two doctorates and masters from Christian seminaries (Th.D., D.Min. and M.Div.). I have served as a pastor for over ten years. (Yes, I am a tentmaker, and so are you, Christians who are called to the marketplace!).
I am an expert in technology, an owner of multiple businesses, and a Veteran Air Force Officer who has been highly successful in Engineering, Program Management, Cybersecurity, DevOps, and Business Strategies in both domestic and global operations.
I find great joy in seeing that my interactions with people like you have made a difference in their life's directions and pursuits. My ideal clients are Christian leaders in the marketplace (executives, entrepreneurs, and thought-leaders) who recognize that they have a great calling from God.
I look forward to life-on-life interactions with you.
