This Attitude of Ezra should be model for us.
We are Christians, children of the Most High, a Holy King to who nothing in impossible; our provider, our strength.
We tell these and more to the " Not yet believers". However, for most believers when the need arises, when we are in trouble we fail to seek the face of the God in whom we proclaim to have believed. We sometimes run to or with the "not yet believer" to seek ungodly helps.
With this they will mock us! and belittle God!
Let us be very careful at the avenues we seek help from and the type of helps we seek.
God can bring men to help us, but not such helps that will make it look like He, our God is not able.
Psalm 46:1, 121:1-8 ..... Our God is Ever Able 🙏
21And there by the Ahava Canal, I gave orders for all of us to fast and humble ourselves before our God. We prayed that he would give us a safe journey and protect us, our children, and our goods as we traveled. 22For I was ashamed to ask the king for soldiers and horsemen to accompany us and protect us from enemies along the way. After all, we had told the king, “Our God’s hand of protection is on all who worship him, but his fierce anger rages against those who abandon him.” 23So we fasted and earnestly prayed that our God would take care of us, and he heard our prayer.
