Lord's Prayer (주기도문)

Main

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Modern Translation (Sang)

Our Father who is in heaven,
May Your Name be (recognized as) holy.
May your kingdom come.
May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Provide us with what we need for today;
and forgive us of our wrongdoings, as we forgive those who do wrong to us.
Don't let us be led into temptation,
but rescue us from the evil one.
(For to You belong the Kingdom,
all the power,
and all the glory.
Forever and ever.
Amen.)

주기도문 (Main)

Vulgate Latin Translation

Pater noster, qui es in caelis,
sanctificetur nomen tuum,
adveniat regnum tuum,
fiat voluntas tua,
sicut in caelo, et in terra.
Panem nostrum supersubstantialem da nobis hodie;
et dimitte nobis debita nostra,
sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris;
et ne inducas nos in tentationem;
sed libera nos a Malo.

Liturgical Greek (Patriarchal Edition 1904)

Pater noster, qui es in caelis,
sanctificetur nomen tuum,
adveniat regnum tuum,
fiat voluntas tua,
sicut in caelo, et in terra.
Panem nostrum supersubstantialem da nobis hodie;
et dimitte nobis debita nostra,
sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris;
et ne inducas nos in tentationem;
sed libera nos a Malo.

Roman Missal

Pater noster, qui es in caelis:
sanctificetur nomen tuum;
adveniat regnum tuum;
fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo, et in terra.
Panem nostrum cotidianum da nobis hodie;
et dimitte nobis debita nostra,
sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris;
et ne nos inducas in tentationem;
sed libera nos a malo.

1928 Episcopal Book of Common Prayer (with doxology); Catholic version (without doxology)

Our Father who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

[The 1928 BCP adds:
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever
Amen.]

1662 Anglican Book of Common Prayer

Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name;
Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done
in earth, as it is in heaven:
Give us this day our daily bread;
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive them that trespass against us;
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil:
When before the Collect the priest alone recites the prayer, the people here respond: Amen.
When after all have communicated the people repeat each petition after the priest, the prayer ends:
For thine is the kingdom,
the power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen.

For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours
now and for ever. Amen.

Our Father in heaven,
May your name be kept holy.
May your Kingdom come soon.

Don't let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.

The Passion Translation (TPT)

Our Beloved Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms,
May the glory of your name be the center on which our lives turn.
Manifest your kingdom realm, and
Cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is in heaven.
We acknowledge you as our Provider of all we need each day.
Forgive us the wrongs we have done as we ourselves release forgiveness to those who have wronged us.
Rescue us every time we face tribulation and set us free from evil.
For you are the King who rules with power and glory forever. Amen.

The Message Bible (MSG)

Our Father in heaven
Reveal who you are.
Set the world right
Do what's best—as above, so below.
Keep us alive with three square meals.
Keep us forgiven with you and forgiving others.
Keep us safe from ourselves and the Devil.
You're in charge! You can do anything you want! You're ablaze in beauty! Yes. Yes. Yes.

The Amplified Bible (AMP)

Our Father Who is in heaven,
Hallowed (kept holy) be Your name.
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And
Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven (left, remitted, and let go of the debts, and have given up resentment against) our debtors. And
Lead (bring) us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Prayer Tents is a Christian mission organization that serves Christians around the world and their local bodies to make disciples ("evangelize") more effectively in their communities. Prayer Tents provides resources to enable Christians to form discipleship-focused small groups and make their gatherings known so that other "interested" people may participate and experience Christ in their midst. Our Vision is to make disciples in all nations through the local churches so that anyone seeking God can come to know Him through relationships with other Christians near them.
