How does ownership of church work, and how can I take ownership of the church?

Ownership of your church is required to:
1. Show others that your church data is reliable, that it was not gathered from public sources
2. Provide media for your church site
3. Administer members that have claimed to be members of your church. This includes ability to report and reject non-members as well as review all their postings for validity

Who can take ownership of your church?
Your church leadership must approve of this activity. Prayertents works in collaboration with other churches and require express approval from local church leaderships in correctly portraying individual churches.

What are the detailed steps to take ownership of the church?
1. Sign in if you have not done so.
2. Go to https://www.prayertents.com/orgrequests
3. Accept the Statement of Faith for your organization
4. Fill out list of email addresses of those that you wish to provide administrative access. This is the access required to upload new media (sermons) and to administer members that have claimed to be part of your church membership.
5. Enter the name and email of the approving pastor (or your name if you are that person).
6. For Quick approval purposes, enter the website to verify the name of the approving pastor you had indicated in step 5.
7. Submit Application

Prayer Tents Staff will review the application and disposition. Once you receive an approved email from them, anyone whose email addresses were listed will have an administrative panel when they log in.

Prayer Tents is a Christian mission organization that serves Christians around the world and their local bodies to make disciples ("evangelize") more effectively in their communities. Prayer Tents provides resources to enable Christians to form discipleship-focused small groups and make their gatherings known so that other "interested" people may participate and experience Christ in their midst. Our Vision is to make disciples in all nations through the local churches so that anyone seeking God can come to know Him through relationships with other Christians near them.
