Death of the Firstborn Announced

11And the LORD said to Moses, "I will bring yet one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt. Afterward he will let you go from here. When he lets you go, he will surely drive you out of here altogether.H3068H559H4872H935H259H5061H6547H4714H310H7971H7971H1644H1644H36172"Speak now in the hearing of the people, and let every man ask from his neighbor and every woman from her neighbor, articles of silver and articles of gold."H1696H241H5971H376H7592H7453H802H7468H3627H3701H3627H20913And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants and in the sight of the people.H3068H5414H5971H2580H5869H4714H376H4872H3966H1419H776H4714H5869H6547H5650H5869H59714Then Moses said, "Thus says the LORD: 'About midnight I will go out into the midst of Egypt;H4872H559H559H3068H3915H2676H3318H8432H47145'and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the female servant who is behind the handmill, and all the firstborn of the animals.H1060H776H4714H4191H1060H6547H3427H3678H1060H8198H310H7347H1060H9296'Then there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as was not like it before, nor shall be like it again.H1961H1419H6818H776H4714H3808H3808H32547'But against none of the children of Israel shall a dog move its tongue, against man or beast, that you may know that the LORD does make a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.'H1121H3478H3611H2782H3956H376H929H3045H3068H6395H4714H34788"And all these your servants shall come down to me and bow down to me, saying, 'Get out, and all the people who follow you!' After that I will go out." Then he went out from Pharaoh in great anger.H5650H3381H7812H559H3318H5971H7272H310H3318H3318H6547H2750H6399But the LORD said to Moses, "Pharaoh will not heed you, so that My wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt."H3068H559H4872H6547H8085H4159H7235H776H471410So Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh; and the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land.H4872H175H6213H4159H6440H6547H3068H2388H6547H3820H1121H3478H7971H776
