13He gave Caleb son of Jephunneh [the following] portion among the descendants of Judah based on the LORD's instruction to Joshua: Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron; Arba was the father of Anak).H3612H1121H3312H5414H2506H8432H1121H3063H413H6310H3068H3091H7151H704H7153H1H6061H227514Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak: Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai, descendants of Anak.H3612H3423H7969H1121H6061H8344H289H8526H3211H606115From there he marched against the inhabitants of Debir whose name used to be Kiriath-sepher,H5927H3427H1688H8034H1688H6440H715816and Caleb said, "I will give my daughter Achsah as a wife to the one who strikes down and captures Kiriath-sepher."H3612H559H5221H7158H3920H5414H5915H1323H80217So Othniel son of Caleb's brother, Kenaz, captured it, and Caleb gave his daughter Achsah to him as a wife.H6274H1121H7073H251H3612H3920H5414H5915H1323H80218When she arrived, she persuaded Othniel to ask her father for a field. As she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, "What do you want?"H935H5496H7592H1H7704H6795H2543H3612H55919She replied, "Give me a blessing.
