Malachi 3

The Purifier

3"Behold, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming," says the LORD of hosts.H7971H4397H6437H1870H6440H113H1245H6597H935H1964H4397H1285H2655H935H559H3068H66352"But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire and like fullers' soap.H3557H3117H935H5975H7200H6884H784H3526H12873"And He will sit as a smelter and purifier of silver, and He will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver, so that they may present to the LORD offerings in righteousness.H3427H6884H2891H3701H2891H1121H3878H2212H2091H3701H5066H3068H4503H66664"Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasing to the LORD, as in the days of old and as in former years.H4503H3063H3389H6149H3068H3117H5769H6931H81415"Then I will draw near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers and against the adulterers and against those who swear falsely, and against those who oppress the wage earner in his wages, the widow and the orphan, and those who turn aside the alien, and do not fear Me," says the LORD of hosts.H7126H4941H4116H5707H3784H5003H8267H7650H6231H7916H7939H490H3490H5186H1616H3372H559H3068H66356"For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.H3068H8138H1121H3290H36157"From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from My statutes, and have not kept [them.] Return to Me, and I will return to you," says the LORD of hosts." But you say, 'How shall we return?'H3117H1H5493H2706H8104H7725H7725H559H3068H6635H559H7725

You Have Robbed God

8"Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, 'How have we robbed Thee?' In tithes and offerings.H120H6906H430H6906H559H6906H4643H86419"You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, the whole nation [of you]!H779H3994H6906H147110"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this," says the LORD of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven, and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.H935H4643H214H2964H1004H974H2063H559H3068H6635H6605H699H8064H7324H1293H176711"Then I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it may not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast [its grapes]," says the LORD of hosts.H1605H398H7843H6529H127H1612H7921H7704H559H3068H663512"And all the nations will call you blessed, for you shall be a delightful land," says the LORD of hosts.H1471H833H2656H776H559H3068H663513"Your words have been arrogant against Me," says the LORD. "Yet you say, 'What have we spoken against Thee?'H1697H2388H559H3068H559H169614"You have said, 'It is vain to serve God; and what profit is it that we have kept His charge, and that we have walked in mourning before the LORD of hosts?H559H7723H5647H430H1215H8104H4931H1980H6941H6440H3068H663515'So now we call the arrogant blessed; not only are the doers of wickedness built up, but they also test God and escape.' "H833H2086H833H6213H7564H1129H974H430H4422

The Book of Remembrance

16Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD gave attention and heard [it,] and a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who esteem His name.H3373H3068H1696H376H7453H3068H7181H8085H5612H2146H3789H6440H3373H3068H2803H803417"And they will be Mine," says the LORD of hosts, "on the day that I prepare [My] own possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him."H559H3068H6635H3117H6213H5459H2550H376H2550H1121H564718So you will again distinguish between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.H7725H7200H6662H7563H5647H430H5647

Prayer Tents is a Christian mission organization that serves Christians around the world and their local bodies to make disciples ("evangelize") more effectively in their communities. Prayer Tents provides resources to enable Christians to form discipleship-focused small groups and make their gatherings known so that other "interested" people may participate and experience Christ in their midst. Our Vision is to make disciples in all nations through the local churches so that anyone seeking God can come to know Him through relationships with other Christians near them.
