The Death of Moses

34Then Moses went up to Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab and climbed Pisgah Peak, which is across from Jericho. And the LORD showed him the whole land, from Gilead as far as Dan;H4872H5927H6160H4124H2022H5015H7218H6449H6440H3405H3068H7200H776H1568H1835 2all the land of Naphtali; the land of Ephraim and Manasseh; all the land of Judah, extending to the Mediterranean Sea;H5321H776H669H4519H776H3063H314H3220 3the Negev; the Jordan Valley with Jericho—the city of palms—as far as Zoar.H5045H3603H1237H3405H5892H8558H5899H6820 4Then the LORD said to Moses, "This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob when I said, 'I will give it to your descendants.' I have now allowed you to see it with your own eyes, but you will not enter the land."H3068H559H776H7650H85H3327H3290H559H5414H2233H7200H5869H5674 5So Moses, the servant of the LORD, died there in the land of Moab, just as the LORD had said.H4872H5650H3068H4191H776H4124H6310H3068 6The LORD buried him in a valley near Beth-peor in Moab, but to this day no one knows the exact place.H6912H1516H776H4124H4136H1047H376H3045H6900H3117 7Moses was 120 years old when he died, yet his eyesight was clear, and he was as strong as ever.H4872H3967H6242H8141H1121H4194H5869H3543H3893H5127 8The people of Israel mourned for Moses on the plains of Moab for thirty days, until the customary period of mourning was over.H1121H3478H1058H4872H6160H4124H7970H3117H3117H1065H60H4872H8552 9Now Joshua son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him. So the people of Israel obeyed him, doing just as the LORD had commanded Moses.H3091H1121H5126H4392H7307H2451H4872H5564H3027H1121H3478H8085H6213H3068H6680H4872 10There has never been another prophet in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face.H6965H5030H5750H3478H4872H3068H3045H6440H6440 11The LORD sent him to perform all the miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt against Pharaoh, and all his servants, and his entire land.H226H4159H3068H7971H6213H776H4714H6547H5650H776 12With mighty power, Moses performed terrifying acts in the sight of all Israel.H2389H3027H1419H4172H4872H6213H5869H3478
