The Lamb and the 144,000

14Then I saw the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him were 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads.G2532G1492G2532G2400G721G2476G1909G3735G4622G2532G3326G846G1540G5062G5064G5505G2192G846G3962G3686G1125G1909G846G3359 2And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of mighty ocean waves or the rolling of loud thunder. It was like the sound of many harpists playing together.G2532G191G5456G1537G3772G5613G5456G4183G5204G2532G5613G5456G3173G1027G2532G191G5456G2790G2789G1722G846G2788 3This great choir sang a wonderful new song in front of the throne of God and before the four living beings and the twenty-four elders. No one could learn this song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth.G2532G103G5613G2537G5603G1799G2362G2532G1799G5064G2226G2532G4245G2532G3762G1410G3129G5603G1508G1540G5062G5064G5505G3588G59G575G1093 4They have kept themselves as pure as virginsc, following the Lamb wherever he goes. They have been purchased from among the people on the earth as a special offering to God and to the Lamb.G3778G1526G3739G3435G3756G3435G3326G1135G1063G1526G3933G3778G1526G3588G190G721G3699G302G5217G3778G59G575G444G536G2316G2532G721 5They have told no lies; they are without blame.G2532G1722G846G4750G2147G3756G1388G1063G1526G299G1799G2362G2316

The Three Angels

6And I saw another angel flying through the sky, carrying the eternal Good News to proclaim to the people who belong to this world—to every nation, tribe, language, and people.G2532G1492G243G32G4072G1722G3321G2192G166G2098G2097G2730G1909G1093G2532G3956G1484G2532G5443G2532G1100G2532G2992 7"Fear God," he shouted. "Give glory to him. For the time has come when he will sit as judge. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and all the springs of water."G3004G1722G3173G5456G5399G2316G2532G1325G1391G846G3754G5610G846G2920G2064G2532G4352G4160G3772G2532G1093G2532G2281G2532G4077G5204 8Then another angel followed him through the sky, shouting, "Babylon is fallen—that great city is fallen—because she made all the nations of the world drink the wine of her passionate immorality."G2532G190G243G32G3004G897G4098G4098G3173G4172G3754G4222G3956G1484G4222G1537G3631G2372G846G4202 9Then a third angel followed them, shouting, "Anyone who worships the beast and his statue or who accepts his mark on the forehead or on the handG2532G5154G32G190G846G3004G1722G3173G5456G1536G4352G2342G2532G846G1504G2532G2983G5480G1909G846G3359G2228G1909G846G5495 10must drink the wine of God's anger. It has been poured full strength into God's cup of wrath. And they will be tormented with fire and burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and the Lamb.G846G2532G4095G1537G3631G2372G2316G3588G2767G194G1722G4221G846G3709G2532G928G1722G4442G2532G2303G1799G40G32G2532G1799G721 11The smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever, and they will have no relief day or night, for they have worshiped the beast and his statue and have accepted the mark of his name."G2532G2586G846G929G305G1519G165G165G2532G2192G3756G372G2250G2532G3571G3588G4352G2342G2532G846G1504G2532G1536G2983G5480G846G3686 12This means that God's holy people must endure persecution patiently, obeying his commands and maintaining their faith in Jesus.G5602G2076G5281G40G5602G5083G1785G2316G2532G4102G2424 13And I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Write this down: Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them!"G2532G191G5456G1537G3772G3004G3427G1125G3107G3498G3588G599G1722G2962G534G3483G3004G4151G2443G373G1537G846G2873G1161G846G2041G190G3326G846

The Harvest of the Earth

14Then I saw a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was someone like the Son of Manc. He had a gold crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.G2532G1492G2532G2400G3022G3507G2532G1909G3507G2521G3664G5207G444G2192G1909G846G2776G5552G4735G2532G1722G846G5495G3691G1407 15Then another angel came from the Temple and shouted to the one sitting on the cloud, "Swing the sickle, for the time of harvest has come; the crop on earth is ripe."G2532G243G32G1831G1537G3485G2896G1722G3173G5456G2521G1909G3507G3992G4675G1407G2532G2325G3754G5610G2064G4671G2325G3754G2326G1093G3583 16So the one sitting on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the whole earth was harvested.G2532G2521G1909G3507G906G846G1407G1909G1093G2532G1093G2325 17After that, another angel came from the Temple in heaven, and he also had a sharp sickle.G2532G243G32G1831G1537G3485G3588G1722G3772G846G2532G2192G3691G1407 18Then another angel, who had power to destroy with fire, came from the altar. He shouted to the angel with the sharp sickle, "Swing your sickle now to gather the clusters of grapes from the vines of the earth, for they are ripe for judgment."G2532G243G32G1831G1537G2379G2192G1849G1909G4442G2532G5455G3173G2906G2192G3691G1407G3004G3992G4675G3691G1407G2532G5166G1009G288G1093G3754G846G4718G187 19So the angel swung his sickle over the earth and loaded the grapes into the great winepress of God's wrath.G2532G32G906G846G1407G1519G1093G2532G5166G288G1093G2532G906G1519G3173G3025G2372G2316 20The grapes were trampled in the winepress outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress in a stream about 180 milesc long and as high as a horse's bridle.G2532G3025G3961G1854G4172G2532G129G1831G1537G3025G891G2462G5469G575G5507G1812G4712

The Song of Moses and of the Lamb

15Then I saw in heaven another marvelous event of great significance. Seven angels were holding the seven last plagues, which would bring God's wrath to completion.G2532G1492G243G4592G1722G3772G3173G2532G2298G2033G32G2192G2033G2078G4127G3754G1722G846G5055G2372G2316 2I saw before me what seemed to be a glass sea mixed with fire. And on it stood all the people who had been victorious over the beast and his statue and the number representing his name. They were all holding harps that God had given them.G2532G1492G5613G2281G5193G3396G4442G2532G3528G1537G2342G2532G1537G846G1504G2532G1537G846G5480G1537G706G846G3686G2476G1909G2281G5193G2192G2788G2316 3And they were singing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb: "Great and marvelous are your works, O Lord God, the Almighty. Just and true are your ways, O King of the nationsc.G2532G103G5603G3475G1401G2316G2532G5603G721G3004G3173G2532G2298G4675G2041G2962G2316G3841G1342G2532G228G4675G3598G935G40 4Who will not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed."G5101G5399G3364G5399G4571G2962G2532G1392G4675G3686G3754G3441G3741G3754G3956G1484G2240G2532G4352G1799G4675G3754G4675G1345G5319

The Seven Bowls of the Seven Plagues

5Then I looked and saw that the Temple in heaven, God's Tabernacle, was thrown wide open.G2532G3326G5023G1492G2532G2400G3485G4633G3142G1722G3772G455 6The seven angels who were holding the seven plagues came out of the Temple. They were clothed in spotless white linenc with gold sashes across their chests.G2532G2033G32G1831G1537G3485G2192G2033G4127G1746G2513G2532G2986G3043G2532G4738G4024G4012G5552G2223 7Then one of the four living beings handed each of the seven angels a gold bowl filled with the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever.G2532G1520G1537G5064G2226G1325G2033G32G2033G5552G5357G1073G2372G2316G3588G2198G1519G165G165 8The Temple was filled with smoke from God's glory and power. No one could enter the Temple until the seven angels had completed pouring out the seven plagues.G2532G3485G1072G2586G1537G1391G2316G2532G1537G846G1411G2532G3762G1410G1525G1519G3485G891G2033G4127G2033G32G5055

16Then I heard a mighty voice from the Temple say to the seven angels, "Go your ways and pour out on the earth the seven bowls containing God's wrath."G2532G191G3173G5456G1537G3485G3004G2033G32G5217G2532G1632G5357G2372G2316G1519G1093 2So the first angel left the Temple and poured out his bowl on the earth, and horrible, malignant sores broke out on everyone who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue.G2532G4413G565G2532G1632G846G5357G1909G1093G2532G1096G2556G2532G4190G1668G1519G444G3588G2192G5480G2342G2532G4352G846G1504 3Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became like the blood of a corpse. And everything in the sea died.G2532G1208G32G1632G846G5357G1519G2281G2532G1096G5613G129G3498G2532G3956G2198G5590G599G1722G2281 4Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs, and they became blood.G2532G5154G32G1632G846G5357G1519G4215G2532G1519G4077G5204G2532G1096G129 5And I heard the angel who had authority over all water saying, "You are just, O Holy One, who is and who always was, because you have sent these judgments.G2532G191G32G5204G3004G1488G1342G2962G3588G5607G3801G2532G2258G3801G2532G3741G3801G3754G2919G5023 6Since they shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets, you have given them blood to drink. It is their just reward."G3754G1632G129G40G2532G4396G2532G1325G846G129G4095G1063G1526G514 7And I heard a voice from the altarc, saying, "Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty, your judgments are true and just."G2532G191G243G1537G2379G3004G3483G2962G2316G3841G228G2532G1342G4675G2920 8Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, causing it to scorch everyone with its fire.G2532G5067G32G1632G846G5357G1909G2246G2532G1325G846G2739G444G1722G4442 9Everyone was burned by this blast of heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had control over all these plagues. They did not repent of their sins and turn to God and give him glory.G2532G444G2739G3173G2738G2532G987G3686G2316G3588G2192G1849G1909G5025G4127G2532G3340G3756G1325G846G1391 10Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. His subjects ground their teeth in anguish,G2532G3991G32G1632G846G5357G1909G2362G2342G2532G846G932G1096G4656G2532G3145G846G1100G1537G4192 11and they cursed the God of heaven for their pains and sores. But they did not repent of their evil deeds and turn to God.G2532G987G2316G3772G1537G846G4192G2532G1537G846G1668G2532G3340G3756G1537G846G2041 12Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great Euphrates River, and it dried up so that the kings from the east could march their armies toward the west without hindrance.G2532G1623G32G1632G846G5357G1909G3173G4215G2166G2532G5204G846G3583G2443G3598G935G575G395G2246G2090 13And I saw three evilc spirits that looked like frogs leap from the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.G2532G1492G5140G169G4151G3664G944G1537G4750G1404G2532G1537G4750G2342G2532G1537G4750G5578 14They are demonic spirits who work miracles and go out to all the rulers of the world to gather them for battle against the Lord on that great judgment day of God the Almighty.G1063G1526G4151G1142G4160G4592G1607G3739G1607G1909G935G1093G2532G3650G3625G4863G846G1519G4171G1565G3173G2250G2316G3841 15"Look, I will come as unexpectedly as a thief! Blessed are all who are watching for me, who keep their clothing ready so they will not have to walk around naked and ashamed."G2400G2064G5613G2812G3107G1127G2532G5083G846G2440G3363G4043G1131G2532G991G846G808 16And the demonic spirits gathered all the rulers and their armies to a place with the Hebrew name Armageddonc.G2532G4863G846G4863G1519G5117G2564G1447G717 17Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air. And a mighty shout came from the throne in the Temple, saying, "It is finished!"G2532G1442G32G1632G846G5357G1519G109G2532G1831G3173G5456G575G3485G3772G575G2362G3004G1096 18Then the thunder crashed and rolled, and lightning flashed. And a great earthquake struck—the worst since people were placed on the earth.G2532G1096G5456G2532G1027G2532G796G2532G1096G3173G4578G3634G1096G3756G3739G575G444G1096G1909G1093G5082G4578G3779G3173 19The great city of Babylon split into three sections, and the cities of many nations fell into heaps of rubble. So God remembered all of Babylon's sins, and he made her drink the cup that was filled with the wine of his fierce wrath.G2532G3173G4172G1096G1519G5140G3313G2532G4172G1484G4098G2532G3173G897G3415G1799G2316G1325G846G4221G3631G2372G846G3709 20And every island disappeared, and all the mountains were leveled.G2532G3956G3520G5343G2532G3735G2147G3756G2147 21There was a terrible hailstorm, and hailstones weighing as much as seventy-five poundsc fell from the sky onto the people below. They cursed God because of the terrible plague of the hailstorm.G2532G2597G1909G444G3173G5464G1537G3772G5613G5006G2532G444G987G2316G1537G4127G5464G3754G4127G846G2076G4970G3173
