MOUSE

In biblical usage, any of a number of rodents of family Muridae, including mice, rats, and field mice (Heb. ʿabār). Such creatures were not acceptable according to the Pentateuchal food laws (Lev. 11:29; cf. Isa. 66:17, which depicts pagan observances). In answer to a divinely sent invasion of mice the Philistines included five golden mice as part of a guilt offering when they returned the ark of the covenant to Israel (1 Sam. 6:4-18).

Prayer Tents is a Christian mission organization that serves Christians around the world and their local bodies to make disciples ("evangelize") more effectively in their communities. Prayer Tents provides resources to enable Christians to form discipleship-focused small groups and make their gatherings known so that other "interested" people may participate and experience Christ in their midst. Our Vision is to make disciples in all nations through the local churches so that anyone seeking God can come to know Him through relationships with other Christians near them.
